(From the leaflet) Glass Around 70's, abbreviated GA70's, is a group of glass artists born around 1970. Members of Glass Around 70's gather in Akita for the first time since 2015. Last time, we completed "Tosei Shoryu Kabuto (Dragon Helmet)" inspired by the dragon legend of Lake Tazawa. We hope you look forward to seeing what motif we will challenge this time. Let us enjoy this together.
This time, five members — Ito, Oomoto, Kakurai, Senuma, and Chikaoka — will be visiting. Other members who unfortunately could not join this time are still supporting with ideas and part-making, so we will work hard with the spirit of 11 members participating.
